The latter (1878 – 1935) was the pioneer of geometric abstract art

& the originator of the Avant – garde Suprematist movement.

The first (1980 – ) is a Greek born designer,

recently graduated from St. Martins Fashion college

and is being launched as ‘a name to remember’.

I always feel a bit itchy when facing

new – born talents in the fashion industry but when it comes

to an undefiable, unresistable clarity

of a new identity,

a new fashion specie

all i can do is raise my hands up.

with marvellous colourful pallettes,

flirting with the Biba era and Furstenberg prints

 ’Mary Katrantzou’ 

is not a name to remember,

but one, rather constructive*

to learn by heart.
